I'm trying to branch out from basic burgers and was reading a bloggers post about burgers they had had recently, and one of them caught my eye. It was the umami burger. I couldn't really find a recipe, so I just winged it.
I cooked 80/20 grass fed beef patties to medium and just seasoned them with salt, pepper, and some Japanese barbecue sauce.
To build the burger, I used a basic bun, topped it with wasabi mayonnaise, some Asian coleslaw, and then the burger. It was delicious!
